Lilly is a loving 12 month old Spaniel mix. She has a very soft long coat. She loves to snuggle on the settee with you in the evening. She is the perfect dog except for her desire to chase birds. Lilly is very much a “sighthound hunter/retriever” and always on the look out for birds. She is living with other dogs at the moment but we think it would be better if we found her a home away from the countryside and as an only dog with people at home all day. Lilly is good on the lead but she will pull to get at birds and she will always need to stay on her lead so that she dosnt let the retrieve desire get the better of her and a home with children no younger than 11 years.
Lilly was homed by Dogwatch when she was 3 months old to a location deep in the countryside on a farm. As she has grown up its obvious she is a very keen hunter/retriever. Now the pheasant season is imminent she is very wound up by the amount of birds right at her garden fence and mythes about them to distraction. She will always be interested and the owners feel its not fair to put so much temptation in her way by having birds so close to where she lives.
We all feel she needs a home in a built up area or by the coast. Her current location is in a foster home in Worcs. Fosterers report: She is vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, spayed, microchipped and has a Pet Passport.
