Editor’s Note: Inspired by our founder Ali Jarvis’ “lemon” dog, Luc, this series is dedicated to local, special-needs pups who are looking for loving furever homes. Please consider sharing this post — you might help Regan from Save-A-Bull Rescue find hers!

SWD: Tell us about this lovely lass!
SAB: Regan is just an amazing little dog. We’re surprised she’s been in rescue for so long. Regan is friendly and smart (she’s fully trained!), she’s energetic and fun to be around, and she loves all people, especially kids! She lives to please her humans, and she is all about giving and receiving love and snuggles.
SWD: And what’s Regan’s favorite thing to do?
SAB: She absolutely loves playing chase. We think it’s because she’s so quick and none of the other resident dogs can catch her! The little speedster likes to show off her moves by doing zoomies by herself in the backyard, too.
SWD: Regan seems wonderful! What is her special need?
SAB: She really is! And her special need is that for some reason, she’s been overlooked by adopters again and again. She’s an all-around great dog who deserves to be with a family that will love her forever. (We know you’re out there!)
SWD: We do, too, so let’s keep the good stuff coming! Tell us something funny about Miss Regan.
SAB: Regan has a favorite toy she won’t put down. She plays with it outside for hours, then hides it every time she comes inside so none of the other dogs will take it. She even throws it with her mouth and plays fetch by herself!
SWD: What a resourceful girl — we like it! What would make an ideal home for Regan?
SAB: One that’s big on affection and activity. She’s an energetic pup, so she’d love to be with a family who likes to be out and about, running, biking, hiking, etc. Regan is great with kids — being so young, she does get excited and a little jumpy at first but settles down well. Regan is fantastic with other dogs, too – she lives with several bigger dogs and has lots of puppy foster siblings. This sweet girl just loves to play with everyone!
