Hello, my name is Tag. I’m a two year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I arrived at The Mayhew due to my owner’s ill health. I’m an active, bouncy and happy boy with a tail that never stops wagging! I’m super friendly and I get along well with everyone I meet. I also get along well with other dogs although I can be little too boisterous for some. I’m very playful and I always enjoy a good game with my toys, especially my Kong, which is my favourite.
I can live with older children from sixteen years of age and upwards but I would prefer to be the only pet in the home. I’m toilet trained, I travel well in the car, I know all the basic commands and I can be left home alone for up to four hours without any problems. I’m now looking for an active owner who has owned dogs before and can provide me with at least one to two hours of active off –lead exercise every day. If you’re interested in adopting me you’ll need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long term commitment involved in caring for a dog, you’ll be taking on a twelve year commitment which must not be taken lightly.
