Dharma is a 6 year old male Shi Tzu. Dharma needs a special home as he is very nervous of new situations and people. He belonged to an elderly lady who kept him a crate for long periods of time.His coat was stained in urine and he cowered and growled whenever anyone approached him. After 3 weeks, his fosterer has made great inroads with him and with her, he is much improved though he mistrusts others.
He is being fostered successfully with several other dogs and has settled into the pack but he needs a home desperately so he can settle and find some stability in his life. He loves to play with a rubber kong and enjoys his walks but anyone interested in him must understand that initially he will be difficult and may take some weeks to adjust. This little dog deserves to find a good permanent home where he will come on in leaps and bounds with an owner he can trust. He will be neutered ,vaccinated and microchipped before adoption.
