Our beautiful Red, is still patiently waiting for a home offer that is right for her. She’s a petite female Dogue de Bordeaux, aged 6-7 years, looking for a new home. She has a beautiful nature, could potentially live with older children. She’s not had a great life, she was left alone for days on end in a flat and used for breeding where the large male dog bullied her. For this reason we feel she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She has met many dogs whilst in our care and has been polite and walked on lead in groups and pairs in, but can be aloof, she prefers calm dogs and does not like to be the focus of any dogs attention much, which is why we’d like her to be the only dog in the home.
She’s also met cats at one of our volunteers homes, and was not really interested, so she could potentially live with dog savvy cats. She walks beautifully on lead too. She’s been to work with one of our volunteers at the vets practise where she works and was very well behaved. She loves to go in the car and generally just hang out with you and watch the world go by. She’s easy going, placid and affectionate. She’s spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped, worm and flea treated and will come with 6 weeks pet insurance. Set donation and home visit apply.
