Shrek Great Dane cross approximately 2 to 4 years old. Shrek is quite a tall boy and very handsome, despite his name! We believe he has some Great Dane in his mix. He is not as tall as a Great Dane, but longer legged than a Labrador. He is a very responsive boy who will sit and offer his paw for a treat. He is a strong dog but does not pull uncontrollably on the lead and is happy to be fussed and interacted with. He responded well to other dogs and people and showed a very casual attitude to all around him. Shrek does bond well with people.
Update from Shrek’s kennel maid:
Shrek is a little bigger than he looks in the photo’s. He is a friendly boy who is always happy to see you, just watch his tail as when wagging at full pelt can give you a bit of a whip.
Update from our volunteer dog walkers: Shrek is a lovely responsive boy who will sit and offer his paw for a treat. He is a strong dog but does not pull uncontrollably on the lead and is happy to be fussed and interacted with. He responded well to other dogs and people and showed a very casual attitude to all around him. We soon formed a bond with him and hope he finds his new home very soon.
My oh walked Shrek today and only had positive things to say about him. He said how interactive he is with you and would happily have a little sniff on the extendible but then come back and walk by your side always checking in with you and making eye contact. Best walk of the day and just loves human interaction. He has shown no interest or aggression when passing other dogs so far and just appears to be an all round lovely boy. Lovely, lovely Shrek. Responsive, intelligent and beautiful and so willing to please. Thoroughly enjoyed our walk with him today and so hope he gets his new home soon.
