Bandit is a male German Shepherd crossbreed aged approximately 6 months old. He seems fine with other dogs so far but no cats please. Older children only if a family comes forward, as we have no background history and he is big and bouncy and will jump up and could knock over little ones. He came into our rescue as an unclaimed stray.
On arrival Bandit was very nervous but he has come around nicely and now settled into kennel life. He is a friendly boy, with a nice temperament and makes the most of every minute outside the kennel, he’s not really interested in toys at the moment but enjoys a cuddle and fuss and training with treats! As you can see from the photographs, he will do a nice sit and stay and give his paw. He is still a lively youngster and will jump up excitedly and unexpectedly, he does understand when being told ‘no’ but his excitement gets the better of him at times. As he is quite responsive to training, we believe that with regular exercise and stimulation this behaviour will improve. If you’re looking for a friendly, intelligent youngster to train up, Bandit is the ideal candidate, he already has a little training in place and I don’t feel that he will be particularly hard to train further, he shows real potential as he is very responsive to treats and praise.

If you love Shepherd’s, you will love Bandit, he may not have KC papers or be a pure breed but he has a lot of love to give and in the right home environment, with the right owners, I’m sure he will become a faithful and loyal companion anyone would be proud to own.
All our dogs have a thorough veterinary health check and are micro-chipped, neutered, flea/worm treated and are fully vaccinated. They also come with 6 weeks free insurance. Home check and minimum donation of £165 applies. A securely fenced garden is a must.
