Pookie has come into as she was unsold by her breeder. She is a tiny little dot and is not expected to be a very big girl at all. She would like new owners who are around for most of the day and could be re homed with or without another dog. Although she is small Pookie is energetic and will need the same stimulation and walks as any other dog. She may be tiny but in foster she will happily run along side all of the other dogs. She is one tiny bundle of mischief and she will need to attend training classes to ensure she grows into a well socialised and well behaved adult dog.
Please consider fully that you are able to meet her needs before applying. Pookie could well be a 15 year commitment – she doesn’t want to be a statistic she wants to be in a home that will love and cherish her for the whole of her life. As Pookie is so very small we will not re home where there are children under 14, this is because she could so very easily be hurt accidentally by a small child falling on her. Pookie sleeps well in her crate at night but as expected she does poop, pee and she has mighty sharp teeth for one so little. Please also consider the cost of having her groomed regularly as in some areas it can be very expensive.
Pookie is on foster in Aldershot Hampshire. She has had her first vaccination, been micro chipped and had flea and worming treatment. She will need to be neutered at the correct time as part of the adoption agreement (reduced cost neutering is available at our vets).
