Hello my name is Angel, I am a 2 years old American Bulldog cross and I was found as a stray after I was abandoned. I was taken to some horrible kennels and I heard people saying that because I was so scared it might be kinder to put me to sleep as I really couldn’t cope with life. Luckily Bullies in need stepped in and I went into a lovely foster home. For the first two days I did not even walk, but crawled around on my belly because I was so scared. It was quite obvious that I had been beaten as I am so nervous of loud noises and sudden movements that I almost jump out of my skin. I have got better but can still get scared of people in black uniforms and men wearing shorts. I am usually fine with people if they let me go to them though rather than invade my space as it can scare me. Yes dog savvy children that will respect her space.

I love my walks so would love a family that can take me out often and it is very important that I live with another dog as they really help me to feel safe and secure. I am fine with kids but because I can be nervous I would need a gradual introduction and couldn’t live with children that are loud and scary! I would fit into most families, but I would just need a little time to get used to it, although in my current foster it has only taken me a few days to settle in because my new foster brother (doggy) has helped me settle in a lot.
