Laika is approximately 3 years old, mixed breed female. Laika came into our resceue and immediately has stolen our hearts. Laika is extra special in that she was born with a birth defect to her leg. She has recently had it removed completely, but is living life to the full as a three legged friend! She finds life on her three legs easy peasy as she’s never known any different.
When out with her foster friends she runs around and everybody is always very surprised at how fast she is! Her walks need to be kept short and sweet but its a wonderful thing to watch her running around with the wind in her hair “smiling” and wiggling.
Laika is a pleasure to have in the house, she is happy, and cuddly, and is really enjoying being allowed to be a normal young dog. Laika is always happy to see you, she wriggles her bottom and stands on her back legs. She would be ideal for someone who wants a companion and loyal friend. She will sleep happily in her bed, but would love someone who will allow her to sleep on the sofa or even better on the bed.
Laikas soul mission in life is to have a cuddle! She is happy to be around dogs and humans, and even adopted a kitten as her own while recovering from her operation. Laika will find her spot for the day and will settle there as log as you can leave her! You might even have to carry her out to the loo to get her to move once she’s settled in for the day she’s so lazy!! Laika is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed and de-flead.
Laika is currently in foster in Harlow, Essex. We are looking to re-home her in or around this area or neighbouring counties as a home check will be done.
