DJ is a short legged mixed breed dog of around 2-3 years old. Whatever his breeding be it Labrador, Collie, Corgi, Dachshund?!? He is full of love and energy. He was adopted in Bucharest, Romania when he was 6 months old by an English man married to a Romanian lady. All was good until the family had to move from the house in Bucharest and it was decided they would give up on DJ. The Romanian lady called us threatening to abandon him in a forest if we did not take him, the English man said he will go to the vet to put him to sleep even though he is healthy and young.
We took this boy and he is no trouble at all. All he wants is to have a familly of his own again and go back to his former life. He is okay with other dogs but can be a bit pushy sometimes, eager to play and get attention. But he is so clever and learns everything fast. He has never been tested with cats. He loves kids and people in general, he is an easy dog, very suitable for
any family that has the time for him. He can be noisy if left alone for a long time. We would prefer him to only be left for a maximum of 3-4 hours at a time because he needs attention and kept busy being a young dog.
DJ tested positive for heartworm but it is only in the first stage and he just needs a tablet once a month for a year ( he has already started his treatment). The heartworm shows no ill effects and he lives a perfectly normal life. He is a medium dog about 14 kilos with very short legs, he is neutered, fully vaccinated and has an EU passport. Adopt and save a life!
