Shyla – 5 year old female Terrier

Shyla has had a bumpy start bless her. She is an ex breeding girl who is now ready for her forever home. She will need an understanding home that are experienced in Terrier ways and behaviour. Shyla needs to be re homed with at least one other dog and would probably be best in a multi owner household (husband, wife, teenage children).

Shyla can be grumpy with some dogs, it seems that she does not know how to deal with highly excitable dogs. We think she would be best with an older steady dog or dogs that will give her space and allow her to settle and help her confidence when doing new things. She is currently in foster with 3 other dogs and is coping well. The odd squabble is normally all noise and no substance and is quickly over. Handbags at dawn like many terrier ladies Click Me!. She is a girl who has had little in the way of home comforts or human interaction for most of her life and she is just learning all about sharing.

Shyla is doing well with her house training and is loving her walks, She does get car sick but her foster is working on this with her and hopefully once she gets used to traveling by car she should improve. It may well be fear based as this is another new thing for her to learn all about. She takes no notice of the cats so could be re homed with them. Shyla is now on foster in Guildford Surrey.
