Skyler is a female Husky cross of 12 months of age who has come into our care from the pound. This girl is still a baby and does need further training, she can be a little timid of new things but is so eager to please. She is a real sweetie and would win anyone’s heart. Skyler has a great nature and gets on well with her little kennel mate, she is playful and is looking for a fairly active home. Someone is going to be very lucky to adopt this beautiful girl.
Update from our volunteer dopg walkers: Got to walk Skyler to day the new resident and “wow” what a beautiful girl, both in looks and nature. She was all excited to be out of the kennel and going for a walk but although she did pull on the lead it was not a steam train drag and she was easy to control.
She enjoyed her walk and I her company, still a baby she still nibbles your hand like a puppy, she is so gentle and so gentle in her ways. Some things she was a little timid but would look at you for reassurance and soon settle. She would need more training but is so responsive and I would imagine would do well at reward based training. Really super girl who is going to make someone a super companion.
