Rolo – 5 month old male Cross-Breed

Rolo is an adorable, 5 month old male Cross Breed puppy. He is very loving and affectionate and loves his cuddles. A little on the timid side, Rolo needs to be given lots of love and cuddles back, but is such a gorgeous little boy it won’t take long at all for him to settle into his new home and start on his long and happy journey with his new family. Rolo is also a happy boy with a lovely temperament and good nature. He is well socialised with other dogs, so could easily be homed with another suitable resident doggy companion, young or old. This adorable puppy only owes his life to the combination of Devine Intervention and the dedication of a group of volunteer rescuers. He was found with seven siblings in a plastic bag in the back streets if Bucharest.

Fate was on their site when a very kind lady feeding strays on a building site heard their cries and went to investigate. She had nowhere to take them to as they were just a few weeks old and had to be bottle fed. She posted a Facebook message to a friend in the UK who contacted a shelter 150 km from Bucharest, who not only agreed to care for them until they could travel to the UK but also collected them by car, a total of 300 km. Some pictures of the pups when they arrived at the shelter and when they were a little bit older. Sadly one died on the first night at the shelter, the others only survived because of the round the clock care they received at the shelter on the first few days. Little Rolo loves to snuggle up with his soft teddies for warmth and comfort.

Rolo will need a loving family who has the time and commitment to give him the chance of a great life after the traumatic start of his life. As he is only a puppy we are looking for a family where someone is at home for most of the day. He will need a good couple of walks every day as he gets older to meet new doggy friends in the park and to stretch his legs. We strongly recommend, as with all puppies, that Rolo would benefit from puppy training classes to get the most out of him and for his enjoyment and to build up a bond with his new owners. As he was raised in a shelter, he is not yet house trained, but with a good routine it will not be long before he is.

Rolo is young enough to be introduced to cats. Rolo also has some adorable brothers and a sister up for re=homing. Please see them on our web site. Rolo is spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped and wormed. He has a full in date EU Pet Passport. Rolo is fostered in North London near junction 25 of the M25. For home checking purpose we prefer prospective adopters to reside in London or neighbouring counties, although we will consider applications from further afield for the right home.
