This is Hud who is a beautiful boy and is approximately 5 years old. He is grey/black/orange brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross with lovely golden eyes and a slightly feathery tail, because of this we believe he may be crossed with a Terrier of some sort. He found himself living in kennels since his owner was no longer able to look after him. We are not certain of his age but believe him to be a young adult. He is a playful, fun dog and loves ball-games! He would be best suited to a family with older children or teenagers who would like to kick a ball about and get pleasure from his natural playfulness. After a good play, he likes to settle at the side of you, have a good chill out and relax.
Loves to play with his doggie treats in an amusing way until he finally eats them, having got the most fun he can out of sneaking up on them and throwing them in the air, then catching them and doing it all over again, he does this every evening before bed! He is such a good boy, does not mouth hands or clothing, and plays very gently and safely, not nipping fingers no matter how much fun everybody is having. Very good with his food, isn’t greedy, stops when he had enough and is also a very clean dog. With the Staffordshire Bull Terrier in
him Hud is very capable of developing an extremely loving bond. Loves his cuddles and especially tummy-rubs. In spite of his excellent physique and playfulness he is quite light, does jump up a little bit but not enough to knock a teenager/adult over, he also see’s vulnerability as has been observed around someone on crutches where he took extreme care. Hud is a dog with enormous potential as a funny, playful, safe, loving dog. He is coping well being in kennels but he has been for nearly 16 months now and he really needs to find his break to a loving home where he will be loved!
Hud would be best as an only dog as some dogs he doesn’t get along with, he has not been tested with cats or small furies. Upon re-home Hud will receive flea and worming treatment and will be fully vaccinated. He will either be neutered beforehand or leave on a neutering contract.
