Elsa – 11 month old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Elsa is an 11 month old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. She came into our care from the inspectors as her previous owners were finding it difficult to cope with a young family and a dog.Poor Elsa was kept in the family’s toilet for the majority of the time. Elsa is an extremely adorable, sweet-natured little dog who loves nothing more than having lots of fuss and her tummy rubbed. She enjoys a good walk but is equally happy snuggled up on a warm cushion snoring!

She is very good with people and other dogs she meets outside and walks nicely on a harness. She is a quick learner as she is highly motivated by rewards whether food or praise. She seems to know some basic commands and will sit quite nicely when asked but will need some further training. She settles well overnight but has demonstrated some anxiety when left alone in the day.

Elsa is looking for a home where she will get plenty of fuss and attention and with owners who can give her the further training she needs. She does get a little anxious when she is left so it would be better for her if she goes to a home where she will have company most of the time. She could possibly live with another well-behaved dog. She could also be rehomed with older children.
