Abby is an adorable little female Cross Breed puppy of about 5 months old. She is very loving and affectionate and loves her cuddles. A little on the timid side, Abby needs to be given lots of love and cuddles back, but is such a gorgeous little girl it won’t take long at all for her to settle into her new home and start on her long and happy journey with her new family. Abby is also a happy girl with a lovely temperament and good nature. She is well socialised with other dogs, so could easily be homed with another suitable resident doggy companion, young or old. This adorable puppy only owes her life to the combination of Devine Intervention and the dedication of a group of volunteer rescuers. She was found with seven siblings in a plastic bag in the back streets if Bucharest.
Fate was on their site when a very kind lady feeding strays on a building site heard their cries and went to investigate. She had nowhere to take them to as they were just a few weeks old and had to be bottle fed. She posted a Facebook message to a friend in the UK who contacted a shelter 150 km from Bucharest, who not only agreed to care for them until they could travel to the UK but also collected them by car, a total of 300 km. Some pictures of the pups when they arrived at the shelter and when they were a little bit older. Sadly one died on the first night at the shelter, the others only survived because of the round the clock care they received at the shelter on the first few days. Little Abby loves to snuggle up with her soft teddies for warmth and comfort.
Abby will need a loving family who has the time and commitment to give her the chance of a great life after the traumatic start of her life. As she is only a puppy we are looking for a family where someone is at home for most of the day. She will need a good couple of walks every day as she gets older to meet new doggy friends in the park and to stretch her legs. We strongly recommend, as with all puppies, that Abby would benefit from puppy training classes to get the most out of her and for her enjoyment and to build up a bond with her new owners. As she was raised in a shelter, she is not yet house trained but with a good routine it will not be long before she does. Abby is young enough to be introduced to cats.

Abby is fostered in North London near junction 25 of the M25. For home checking purpose we prefer prospective adopters to reside in London or neighbouring counties, although we will consider applications from further afield for the right home.
